Welcome to the first annual GLORY Convention!

This gathering marks the beginning of a new tradition — uniting graduates and young adults from across Canada for a weekend of worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth.

Rooted in our theme verse, “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21), this convention is a call to live in the fullness of Christ’s righteousness and to carry His light boldly into the world.

Over three days at the beautiful Coast Capri Hotel in Kelowna, BC, you’ll experience powerful sessions, inspiring speakers, uplifting worship, and meaningful connections with fellow graduates who share your faith journey. Together, we will build not just memories, but a foundation for future generations of Glory Conventions to come.

What GLORY?? What’s the acronym again?? Who is it for? What’s happening?
  • The GLORY (Graduates Living Out Righteousness in You) started in 2025 to bring the Coptic Orthodox graduates and young professionals of Western Canada (4 provinces) and the Pacific NorthWest of the USA together in worship, spiritual growth, and fellowship. It is under the auspices of His Grace Bishop Mina of the Diocese of Mississauga, Vancouver, and Western Canada.
  • The 2025 GLORY Convention is for graduates and young professionals across North America.
Sign me up!!! When can I register? How can I register? What if I need to cancel?
  • Stay up to date with the latest registration information through our instagram page:  @Glory_Graduates
  • The cancellation deadline for a full refund is on the last day of registrations (minus a Paypal processing fee of $10 or less).
  • Cancellations and refunds after registration close are subject to finding someone to replace you.
What does the price include?
  • Your stay in a quad occupancy room
  • Your meals: 1 on Friday, 2 on Saturday, 1 on Sunday, plus snacks.
What’s transportation like?

Transportation is not included in the convention cost, and may be an extra cost depending on your church.

I’m ready to pack my bags!! What do I pack?
  • The venue provides towels, bedding (sheets and duvet cover), and pillows. 
  • Liturgy items: Boys: pack tonias, girls: pack head scarves, everyone brings lafayef (napkins)
What’s the schedule?
  • Working on it! The finalized schedule will be posted on our instagram page a few days before the convention, make sure to check it throughout the convention. 
  • We include worship times (liturgies and tasbeha), lectures, game time, and some free time. 
  • The convention starts on Friday around 6 pm, and ends on Sunday around 5pm.
I see only specific churches listed on the registration form. What if I am from somewhere else?

GLORY is organized under the auspices of His Grace Bishop Mina of the Diocese of Mississauga, Vancouver, and Western Canada. However, everyone is welcome to attend. Make sure to add your church name in the registration form.
